Scanning a QR code opens tanniq in a “find wineries like this” mode based on the tasting room you’re currently in. You can then adjust filters to explore on your own.
No. tanniq is authentic and neutral. Over time, partner wineries may have richer and more accurate listings, but partner status does not change ranking.
Recommendations are primarily based on proximity (when location is provided) and how well a tasting room matches your selected wine styles and vibe. Some filters (like “Open now”) act as hard requirements when enabled.
Sometimes there aren’t any great matches within a reasonable distance. When that happens, tanniq may expand the search area or show good nearby options that meet your constraints.
Location is optional. If you choose to provide it, we use it to show nearby results and compute distances. You can also use tanniq without sharing location.
