Ancient Peaks Winery

In downtown Santa Margarita, Ancient Peaks Tasting Room & Cafe is the winery's public tasting location, open daily for seated tasting and lunch service. The program leans toward bold reds and elegant reds, anchored by estate Margarita Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which the winery describes as its longtime flagship Bordeaux-variety expression from a cool, marine-influenced Paso Robles site. Visitors can taste five wines for $20, with reservations recommended Thursday through Sunday and walk-ins welcomed.
